Welcome to paiti. By accessing or using our platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.

1. Platform Role

Paiti acts as a digital connector, bridging the gap between township residents and local skilled professionals (Vendors). Our responsibility is to facilitate the connection between the customer and the right vendor at the time of booking. Once this connection is made, Paiti's role in the specific service transaction is complete.

2. User Responsibility

As a user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration and booking.
• Treat all service providers with respect and dignity.
• Ensure a safe environment for vendors when they are performing tasks at your location.

3. Pricing and Fees

Our fee structure is transparent and focused on community support:

• Customer Fees: Customers are charged a minimum platform and convenience fee at the time of booking. This fee varies by service category and supports our digital operations.
• Zero Vendor Commission: Paiti does not take any cut or commission from the vendor's earnings.
• Direct Settlement: The final amount for the service performed (including labor and any material costs) is settled and paid directly by the customer to the vendor upon completion of the "paiti" or task.

4. Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to be fair to both customers and our platform:

• Customer Cancellations: If you need to cancel a requested service, you may do so through the platform. Upon cancellation by the customer, any eligible refund will be paid out after deducting the applicable convenience fee.
• Vendor Cancellations: If a vendor cancels or fails to arrive for a scheduled task, customers may contact support to be eligible for a full refund of any platform fees paid.

5. Limitation of Liability

While we strive to connect you with reliable professionals, Paiti does not directly provide the services. Therefore, to the maximum extent permitted by law, Paiti shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided by independent vendors or any disputes that occur during or after a task.

6. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding the credentials you use to access Paiti and for any activity or actions under your account. We recommend using "strong" passwords and not sharing your login details with third parties.

7. Prohibited Activities

Users are strictly prohibited from:

• Using the platform for any illegal purpose or to request illegal services.
• Harassing, threatening, or abusing service providers.
• Attempting to bypass the platform's booking system once a connection has been made.
• Providing false or misleading information about the "paiti" or task requirements.

8. Intellectual Property

The Paiti brand, logo, and all content on the platform are the exclusive property of Paiti and its licensors. You may not use our branding or content without express written permission.

9. Dispute Resolution

As Paiti is a connector, any disputes regarding the quality of work or the final service amount must first be addressed directly between the customer and the vendor. Paiti may provide mediation services to help reach a fair conclusion, but we are not legally liable for settlement or damages.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms of Service or engage in fraudulent activities.

11. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Effective Date." Your continued use of the platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
